A sleepy or sleeping companion means a low or empty battery. Here is how to find out what is going on.

1. Check the right child

The battery belongs to each child. If you have more than one child, make sure the right profile is open. Use Switch profile on the Profile tab.

2. Look at the numbers

Your child cannot see a number, but you can. In the Parent/Teacher area, tap Companion, then Continue. The page called "Use so far" shows the plan, a line like "12 of 30 battery left," and when it recharges.

3. Match it to the plan

  • Free has 20 battery in total. It does not recharge. If it is used up, it stays used up.
  • Core has 30 each week. It goes back to full every Monday at 8 AM.

See When the battery recharges.

4. Check the time zone

The Monday recharge follows the time zone saved on your account. If it feels like it is arriving at the wrong time, check it. See Set the recharge time zone.

What still works

Missions, the Room, the Shop and practicing what was already taught does not use battery. See When the battery is empty.
