When the battery runs out, the companion falls asleep. It is a rest. The app does not call it an error.

What your child sees

A calm screen says, "Pip is sleeping." Under it is how the battery comes back:

  • On Core: "Recharges Monday at 8 AM."
  • On Free: "That was all of Pip's free battery."

The screen also offers things to do instead: Keep creating, See my creations, and a practice side mission.

What stays open

  • Skills already taught stay open for practice.
  • Missions, the Room and the Shop stay open.
  • Coins, creations and streaks are always kept.

Some battery, but not enough

Sometimes there is a little battery left, but not enough for what your child picked. Then the screen says, "Not enough battery for this one." Something smaller may still work.

Asking a grown-up

The screen can also show a button that says "Ask a grown-up." It opens the plans page, but only after the phone check. A price never shows on a child's screen. See The phone check.
