Your account
Log in and out, passwords, email, and who else can use the account.
- How do I log out?Tap Log out on the Profile tab, or in Settings under Your account. Your children's profiles stay on the account.
- Can I change my password?The app has no change password screen. Use the forgot password link to choose a new one.
- How long should my password be?At least 8 characters, and up to 128. You can tap Show to check what you typed.
- Can I change my email address?The app has no screen for changing the email on an account. Email support and tell us what you need.
- I forgot which email I usedType each email you might have used. Dilly says "Welcome back" for an email that has an account.
- What does the confirmation email look like?It is a short email from Dilly with one button that says Confirm my email. The link works for 24 hours.
- I did not get the confirmation emailWait a few minutes, check your spam folder and the address you typed. The app has no resend button, so email support if it still does not come.
- Can an adult use Dilly for themselves?Yes. Pick "I'm a grown-up using Dilly myself" on the first screens. You get one profile of your own and no parent steps.
- Can an adult account also have children?No. An adult account has one profile, its own. To manage children, use a family account.
- Can two parents use the same account?Both can log in with the same email and password, or one parent can invite the other so each has their own login.
- I got an email inviting me to join a family on DillyTap the button in the email, log in or make an account, and accept. The invitation works for 7 days.
- Can a grandparent or teacher see my child's progress?The app's invitation is for another parent. It has no view-only role for a grandparent or teacher, and no button to send the report.
- Why does Dilly ask for my password again?Some grown-up actions need your account password, not only the phone check. It keeps a child who picked up the phone from changing things.
- How do I log in?Open Dilly, type your email, tap Continue, then type your password and tap Log in.
