- Is there an Android or web version?Dilly starts on iPhone and iPad. We have not announced Android or a web version.
- Can I turn the iPad sideways? On an iPad, Dilly is set up to work upright or sideways. On an iPhone, it stays upright.
- Does Dilly need the internet?Yes. Your account and your child's progress are saved on Dilly's servers, so the app needs a connection. When it cannot connect, it says so.
- Will I lose my child's progress if I update or reinstall Dilly? No. Progress is saved on your account, not only on the phone. Log in again and your children's profiles come back.
- What is TestFlight?TestFlight is Apple's app for trying apps before they open on the App Store. Dilly is being tested before it opens.
- How do I get early access to Dilly? The way to hear first is the waitlist. We have not announced a separate early access program.
- Does Dilly use the camera, microphone, location or photos? No. The only thing Dilly asks the phone for is Face ID, to keep a child out of the grown-up area.

- Does Dilly read out loud? Not by itself. The app does not speak. Your iPhone or iPad has a feature called Speak Screen that can read any screen to your child.
- How do I make the text bigger or smaller?Open Settings from the Profile tab and pick Normal, Bigger or Biggest under Reading.
- How do I turn off sounds?Turn on Quiet mode in Settings for no sounds and no buzzes at all, or switch off Sound effects and Celebrations one by one.
- Does Dilly have dark mode? Can I reduce motion?Yes to both. Under Looks, Match my device follows your phone's light or dark setting. Under Motion, Reduce motion calms the screens.
- What accessibility settings does Dilly have?Text size, Quiet mode, Reduce motion and following your phone's light or dark setting. For reading out loud, Dilly relies on your phone's Speak Screen.
