Both are in Settings, on the Profile tab.
Dark mode
Under Looks, a switch called Match my device is on by default. It says, "Dilly turns dark at night when your phone does." So Dilly follows your phone's own light or dark setting. To change it, change the appearance in your phone's Settings under Display & Brightness.
Reduce motion
Under Motion, switch on Reduce motion. It says, "Screens fade in instead of sliding and popping." This helps if moving things bother you.
