Someone invited you to join their family on Dilly. Here is what to do.
What the email says
The subject is "You have been invited to join a family on Dilly." The button says See the invitation. The email tells you the invitation works for 7 days.
Steps
- Install Dilly on your phone when it is available. See Is Dilly on the App Store?
- Tap See the invitation in the email.
- Log in, or make an account. See Make an account.
- Tap Join to accept.
You can also open the Parent/Teacher area and find Accept invitation under "Students and invitations."
If you were not expecting it
Ignore the email. The email says, "Nothing will happen unless you accept."
If it does not work
- The invitation may have run out after 7 days. Ask the person to send a new one.
- An adult account cannot join someone else's family. Dilly sends it to "My account" instead. See Can an adult account also have children?
