Why is my battery at zero?

When the battery is at zero, the companion is asleep. The screen says "Pip is sleeping." It is a rest, not an error.

The usual reasons

1. Teaching used it. Each Send while teaching uses one battery. See What uses the battery.
2. It is the free battery. Free has 20 in total. It was a one-time amount and it does not recharge. Your child's screen says, "That was all of Pip's free battery."
3. It is Core, and this week's 30 is used. Core refills every Monday at 8 AM. Leftover battery does not add up.
4. It is a different child. Each child has their own battery. Check which profile is open.
