The Parent/Teacher area is the grown-up side of Dilly. You find it on the Profile tab. For the youngest grades, the same area is called "Grown-ups."
Opening it
Dilly runs a phone check first. See The phone check. The page says, "This area is for grown-ups," if a child gets there without passing.
What is inside
The area is a few pages you move through with Continue and Back.
- A card for each child. It shows the child's name and lets you view their learning report, change their grade, or pick them as the child you are looking at.
- Students and invitations. Add a student, open the Companion page, invite another parent, or accept an invitation.
- Plan and billing. For a child with a plan, this is where Cancel plan lives. See Cancel a plan.
What your child never sees
- Prices. A price is never shown to a child.
- The learning report. It is for grown-ups.
- The grown-up area itself.
The only way a child can ask for more is a button that says "Ask a grown-up," and it opens a phone check first.
What stays your child's
Coins, streaks, saved work and the Room are never taken away. In the app, only your child and grown-ups with access to their profile can see what they made.
