The learning report is for you, not your child. It shows what your child did in the app.
Where to find it
- Open the Profile tab and tap Parent/Teacher area. Pass the phone check.
- On your child's card, tap View learning report.
The title says "Learning report," and the line under it says how your child is doing.
What is in it
- This week. What your child finished and made, their streak, and how many days they were active. Lines like "Finished," "Made," "3 day streak" and "4 days active."
- How this works. A short note to read first.
- Showed this week. What your child showed with their companion.
- What your companion knows. Skills in three groups: "Showed it," "Getting the hang of it" and "Not started." See What your companion knows.
- Worth another go. A little more practice can help.
- Talk about it. Easy ways to start a chat with your child.
- How we know. On Core, each line can open the practice behind it, such as "First try without a hint on 3 of 4 prepared questions."
- What they made, and Missions. The things your child made, and the levels they earned in missions.
These are practice scenarios, not a test
The report says it plainly: "These are practice scenarios, not a test." Everything in it comes from your child's prepared practice in the app. It tells you what was shown in a practice scenario. It is not a score, and it is not a measure of what your child knows.
What it never shows
- No grade, no score and no rank
- No promise about what your child can do outside the app
- Nothing your child typed, in the skills part of the report
If a skill's report wording is not ready, that skill is simply left out. The report does not guess.
Free and Core
Free shows progress for what your child can open, and a calm list of what is next. Core shows everything your companion can learn, every skill and the "How we know" details. Your child never sees the report on either plan.
