You can delete a child's profile in Settings. Please read the whole page first. Deleting cannot be undone from the app.
What the app says
Deleting Maya's profile removes their progress, badges, streak and everything they made from the app. You cannot bring it back from the app.
This removes Maya's profile from the app right away. Any other profiles on this account stay just as they are.
Steps
- Pick the child. If you have more than one, use Switch profile on the Profile tab.
- Open Settings from the Profile tab. At the bottom, tap the button that says "Delete (name)'s profile."
- A sheet says "Are you sure?" Tap Keep my profile to stop, or Yes, keep going.
- The next page asks why. Pick a reason from a short list.
- Tap Delete profile. Dilly asks you to type your account password. A grown-up has to do this.
- A last sheet says "Last chance." Tap Delete profile one more time, or Keep my profile.
What happens
- The profile is removed from the app right away.
- Other profiles on the account stay just as they are.
- Dilly clears what this phone kept for that child, such as typed drafts and mission answers.
- Dilly asks the payment company to cancel that child's plan.
- Your own account stays. To delete the whole account, see Delete your account.
What this page does not promise
This page says what the app does. It does not give a date for when everything is erased from Dilly's servers. Backups, hosting records and records kept by the companies that run Dilly's services may keep copies for a while. Copies on other phones can stay until those phones next load the child list.
If you need something specific, please wait for Dilly's full privacy details. See Privacy policy and terms.
