Dilly does not show minutes or a timer to your child. How long a session lasts depends on what your child chooses to do.
Missions
A mission is a handful of short steps. Your child reads, makes choices and writes a few words. See What are missions?
Teaching your companion
Teaching goes one prepared question at a time. Your child taps Send, then fixes what the companion got wrong. How many steps a skill has changes from skill to skill.
Each Send uses a little battery. When the battery is empty, teaching waits. Missions, the Room and practice keep working. See When the battery is empty.
Stopping in the middle
If your child leaves teaching half done, Dilly saves the place. Next time it says, "You already started this. Want to continue?"
Setting a limit
Dilly has no screen time setting. To limit time in any app, you can use Screen Time on your iPhone or iPad. See How much screen time does Dilly use?
