Does my child need their own email or password?

No. Your child has a profile on your account. You use your email and password, and your child taps their name.

No. Dilly does not ask a child for an email address or a password.

What a child needs

To add a child, Dilly asks for:

  • Their first name
  • Their birthday
  • Their school grade
  • A companion

What you need

You make the account with your email and a password of at least 8 characters. You log in. Your child's profile is already in it.

When you hand over the phone, Dilly shows a button with your child's name on it. Your child taps it and starts. See Add a child.

Where grown-up things happen

Plans, the learning report and adding children sit in the Parent/Teacher area. Dilly checks the phone before it opens. See The phone check.

If your child uses another device

Log in on that device with your email and password. Your child's profile comes along. See Sign in on a second device.
