Can a teenager sign up on their own?

Not in the first version. A parent or guardian makes the account, and your teen has their own profile on it.

  3. What about grown-ups?

The terms say a parent or guardian makes the account. Your child uses Dilly under your account.

How it works for a teen

  1. A parent or guardian makes the account with their email and a password. See Make an account.
  2. On "Who's holding the phone?" they pick I'm the kid, a grown-up is helping, or the first card if they are setting it up for their teen.
  3. They add the teen with a first name, a birthday and a grade.
Three cards. The answer changes the words that follow and when the grown-up's yes is asked for.

The card says, "Your grown-up can stay right next to you."

Does my teen need their own email?

No. See Does my child need their own email or password?

What about grown-ups?

A grown-up can also use Dilly for themselves. See Can an adult use Dilly for themselves?
