How much battery does one lesson use?

One battery for each Send. Most lessons have two Sends, so Free's 20 is about ten lessons. Your child never sees these numbers.

Each time your child taps Send while teaching, one battery is used. Most lessons have two Sends. A few have three or four.

What that means

  • Free: 20 battery in total is about ten lessons.
  • Core: 30 battery each week is about fifteen lessons a week.

These are rough numbers. They are our counts, and they could change.

Before a lesson starts

Dilly sets aside the Sends the lesson will need. If there is not enough, the lesson waits.

If your child quits

The battery that was not used goes back. Your child is only charged for Sends they made.

What costs nothing

Wrong picks, Need help?, practice of a version already finished, missions, side missions, the Room and the Shop. See What uses the battery.

The battery picture, how Pip feels, and when it fills again. The child never sees a number of battery units.

Your child's view

Your child sees only a picture and a feeling. See Why your child sees no battery number.
