What are receipts for side missions?

A receipt is a short note in the learning report for each finished side mission: what it practiced, how many first tries were right, and whether a hint was used.

When your child finishes a side mission, the learning report adds a receipt for it. It is in a section called Side missions, and it only shows when side missions are on.

A side mission leaves one line for the grown-up: the title, the skill, the date and the first tries.

What is on a receipt

  • The mission's name and the skill it practiced
  • The date it was finished
  • A count such as "3 of 4 on the first try"
  • Whether your child "Used a hint" or "Looked at the explanation"
  • How many times they played it again
  • A one-line summary for you, such as: practiced checking AI statements against evidence

The totals

The section also counts how many different missions your child has finished, by category. Replays are counted apart from missions. They are never added together.

What it does not say

The receipt does not say your child has mastered anything. Its footer says: "These are practice examples written for Dilly. Scores show first tries, not mastery."

Do they change skill levels?

No. The section says: "They do not change the skill levels."
