• There are 48 side missions, in 6 categories of 8.
• Each one has 10 steps.
• They are free on every plan.
• They use no battery.
• They count for the streak.

What your child does

Your child reads a small made-up story and a mission card with facts. Then they answer four questions by tapping one of three prepared answers. The AI answers shown are made-up examples. See What is an "Example AI answer"?

What they are not

Side missions are separate from teaching the companion. Finishing one does not teach the companion a skill, fill a dot or earn a puzzle piece. They do not change skill levels or badges.
