An artifact is something your child builds in the Workshop from the pieces they earned. It can be saved, played, edited and copied.

In Dilly, an artifact is a thing your child builds in the Workshop. Examples are the Robot Repair Bench, a Secret Code Challenge and a Mini Escape Room.

Saved builds stay here. Play is the main button. Edit, Duplicate and Delete are quiet.

How it is made

Your child puts earned pieces on the board. When the pieces make something, the app says what your child can build. Then your child sets it up and makes it.

What your child can do with one

  • Save it.
  • Play it again.
  • Edit it.
  • Copy it.

All of this is in My artifacts.

What counts for the streak

Saving, editing or copying an artifact counts for the streak. So does starting or finishing a play. See What counts for a streak.

What an artifact is not

It is not a picture your child draws. The companion is the only picture. An artifact is made of words, colors and shapes.
