Dilly counts days by your child's own calendar day. The app uses the date on your child's phone.

Keeping it alive

A streak counts the days in a row that have an activity. If your child has not done anything yet today, the streak is still alive. It stays alive until the day is over. A day with no activity ends it.

The orange screen

When a day counts, a bright orange screen shows the streak, with a line like "7 days in a row" and a Keep going button.

If a streak breaks

The app says "A fresh start." and nothing more. No blame, and nothing is taken away. Coins, badges and saved work always stay.

Streak goals

Some streak lengths are goals. When your child reaches one, they can earn coins. The streak page lists the goals and how many more days the next one needs. The goals and the coin amounts come from Dilly and can change.

The reminder

In Settings, a switch called "Keep my streak" gives a heads up before the day ends. See Sound, reminder and motion settings.
