Does Dilly work with school accounts or student privacy laws?

The family app uses its own email and password accounts. We make no claim about a school privacy law. Schools can email us.

The Dilly family app does not have school accounts. A parent or guardian makes an account with an email and a password. Each child gets a profile inside it.

Student privacy laws

We do not claim that Dilly meets a particular law, and we have not published a school data agreement. Our privacy page says what the app does today, and says a full privacy policy is coming soon. See Is Dilly COPPA, FERPA or GDPR compliant?

If your school wants to use Dilly

Please do not set up accounts for a class on your own. Email partners@hellodilly.com and tell us what you have in mind.

What the app does

  • A parent or guardian says yes first for a child under 13.
  • Nothing your child makes is posted anywhere.
  • Dilly does not sell your child's information and does not share it for ads.

Dilly Classrooms

That is a separate product. See What is Dilly Classrooms?
