Your child trains their own companion. They pick something to teach, and the companion wants to learn it. The companion starts by saying what it wants to learn.
How teaching goes
Your child taps prepared choices. They never type.
They ask the companion something and tap Send. They notice when the companion gets it wrong. They pick the rule that fixes it, and the companion learns it. Then they watch it try again on something new, and check the difference.
The details change from skill to skill. The idea stays the same: your child is the teacher.
Help is always there
Every question has a Need help? button. It gives a hint, and it never costs coins or battery.
When teaching is done
When your child finishes and saves, the companion can do something new. Your child earns coins, and the skill becomes a puzzle piece. See Pieces and abilities.
What teaching uses
Teaching your companion uses a little of its battery each time your child taps Send. See What uses the battery.
Where it starts
Your child opens the Companion tab and taps the button that says "Train" with their companion's name. That opens the Workshop. See The Workshop.
